How to | Piston ring installation AV4500

If you need to install new piston rings on your Air Venturi 4500PSI 110V Compressor, the piston ring is easy to stretch with the piston installation tool. 

Follow the steps below to install a new piston ring.

1. Separate the installation tool into two pieces. Take the cylinder half of the tool (this is the half of the tool with the smaller hole), and face it towards the bottom of the rod and piston head.
2. Put the cone from the tool on the rod of the piston.
3. Take the new piston ring and gently put even pressure on the ring as you slide it down the cone.
4. Once the ring is stretched over the cone, you can remove the cone and gently slide the cylinder up to press the ring back into its original shape and size.  (Be sure the new ring properly aligns with the piston grooves.)

Repeat the above steps for the remaining piston(s).
